Our voice in medical education is especially important now.

Medical education is undergoing the greatest change since the Flexner report of 1910 provided the basis for modern medical education. This is in part driven by changes in health care that have altered the hospital-based learning envioronment. Our students' clerkships are not the clerkships that we remember.
