Advanced Standing/Transfer Policy
The School of Medicine does not accept transfer students at any level.

University of California policies applying to the disclosure of information
from student records are consistent with federal and state regulations.
Applicants should be aware that letters and statements of recommendation
or evaluation prepared, submitted, or retained with a documented understanding
of confidentiality are not subject to inspection by applicants. Internal
evaluation forms, including interview reports, are in this category. (A
statement of University of California policies on confidentiality of records
may be obtained from the Office of the President, University of California,
300 Lakeside Drive, Oakland, CA 94612-3550.)
The University of California San Francisco's annual security report includes
statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that
occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings owned or controlled
by the University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent
to and accessible from the campus.
In order to become sound and knowledgeable medical practitioners,
medical students must have observational, communicative, motor, conceptual/integrative/quantitative
and behavioral abilities that will allow them to complete medical school
requirements in a dependable manner.
The University of California, in accordance with applicable Federal and
State law and University policy, does not discriminate on the basis of race,
