"San Francisco is a great place to be an MSTP - there's always something cool going on in the city and there's relatively affordable (and very nice!) housing around. I live in a classic old Victorian that was built in the late 1800s."

Miles Berger, MSTP student

Housing

We offer a variety of campus housing options for students, subject to availability. These include the University Residence Program (URP); Avenue Houses, in which students share a large Edwardian house; apartments at the new Mission Bay Campus just south of downtown San Francisco; and the Aldea San Miguel apartments, located in a wooded area on Mt. Sutro, a mile above campus. Many students choose to live off-campus as well.

Campus Life Services helps students take advantage of all the services and resources UCSF offers, including help with housing. We invite you to visit Housing Services to learn more about the variety of on-campus and off-campus housing options.
