Editorial Style Guide Dean's Office Communications strongly suggests following the UCSF Editorial Style Guide launched in 2007 for all your text communications. This helps to present concise messages in our publications and provides writers with clear guidelines in case of ambiguity. A PDF version of the Editorial Style Guide is available on the UCSF Identity website. Similary, UCSF's Visual Identity Standards, provided on that website, are intended to unify and project our institutional reputation and to serve as a guide to University communicators and graphic artists as they develop their own projects. Please note that an important element of UCSF's reputation has been encapsulated in the UCSF tagline, advancing health worldwide™. We encourage you to use the tagline, within the approved guidelines, as often as you like. Questions relating to these standards can be sent to info@pubaff.ucsf.edu. For information about communications specific to the School of Medicine, please contact editorial@medsch.ucsf.edu
