Registration, Study Lists & Change of Address
Every quarter, all third- and fourth-year students must register and file
their study lists by following the instructions given by the Registrar's Office.
View your schedule
online and consult with Maureen Mitchell in the Office of Curricular Affairs
as needed.
Please abide by the deadlines for registration and study-list filing. Late
registration and late study-list filing penalties are $50.00 each. If you
neglect to register by the first week of the quarter, you will be suspended
from your clerkship. Remember that you must be registered to receive
malpractice insurance coverage. Don't jeopardize yourself, your patients, and
the hospital by failing to register on time!
Full-time Student Status: The School of Medicine Satisfactory
Academic Progress Policy requires that all students are registered for a
minimum of 12 units per quarter. The exceptions are quarters where it is only
possible to fit in one 9-unit core clerkship/vacation, and also spring quarter
of the fourth year when students finish in mid-May.
Change of address: When you move and/or change your telephone number,
you must update your information through the Registrar's
online services page -- all contact information used by the Offices of
Curricular and Student Affairs is derived from the Registrar's database.
