School of Medicine Staff Awards

The quarterly Great People Award recognizes both staff and faculty whose commitment and values make the school a great place to work.

Superstar awards, training and development awards, Tier One and Tier Two awards, and incentive plan awards are ways in which managers can initiate recognition for the outstanding work of their staff.

Staff Appreciation Events

The School of Medicine's staff appreciation events include Salute to Excellence, held this year on May 14. Please join us!

Each department also organizes their special staff appreciation events. These event are partially funded by the Dean's Office.

Campus-wide, free events and celebrations are spread throughout the year, in various locations. Check the Arts & Events schedule on the Campus Life Services website for upcoming events.

Wings Employee Development Program

The WINGS program provides financial assistance for the professional development of the School’s career staff employees. The program's goal is to aid in developing skills that prepare employees for career growth within the University. Last year the Wings program awarded grants to 300 SOM employees, a number that has doubled in the last four years. Check out the guidelines and start planning for your development today.
