Enrique Menendez
Enrique, a Project Director, IAM, Positive Health Program @ SFGH, "serves
as a role model for teamwork; he is always willing to step in." He
has trained two people, including a "return-to-work mom" with
no previous research experience who was inspired by his coaching to go
back to school to advance a career in research.


Brian King
Brian is an Administrative Assistant in the Department of Medicine. He
has "encouraged greater recognition of cultural diversity by organizing
a Black Heritage poetry reading hosted by the division." Brian is
described as "consistently cheerful - the role model for customer
service."


Shirley Lowe
Shirley, a Teaching Laboratories Coordinator in the Department
of Microbiology, is "one of those rare individuals whose efforts
exceed any reasonable expectation for her position." By developing
courses, lectures, and other events within and outside the university,
Shirley has exhibited "a love of science and teaching that is infectious
to those who work for and with her."


Sandra Jones
Sandra, a Hospital Assistant @ SFGH, is described as a "hard-working
phlebotomist, very sincere, whose efforts decrease waiting time for patients
and increase the efficiency of the work-flow." She has been with
the university for four years.
