Hardware The School of Medicine Dean's Office strives to maintain computer hardware that meets the business requirements of the end user. Personal computers (PCs) will be replaced on a schedule that balances cost and producitivity. Common replacement cycles occur at 2, 3 and 4 year intervals. Replacement schedules are determined with input from IT and management at the beginning of the fiscal year. Printers will be maintainted through regular maintenance and replaced when required.
