Educational Research Funding for
Students and Residents/Fellows
The Educational Research Program promotes development of future educational researchers. Several different types of trainees have the opportunity to work in OME as research assistants and gain experience about the processes involved in educational research. Annually we fund:
- one position (or two half-time) each summer for a first-year medical student with the Curriculum Ambassador Program, to work on an educational research project.
- one position for a third- or fourth-year medical student to pose an educational research study that could be funded within the Certificate Program for Biomedical Research (CPBR)
- one position to allow a fourth-year medical student, a resident or a recent graduate to devote a year to medical education research
- one full fellowship at the GME level
