About medstudents.ucsf.edu! Medstudents.ucsf.edu was developed after UCSF medical students requested a more centralized, accessible and integrated Web site for their information. In July 2000, medical students Jeremy Fields, Stephen Hoge and Jafi Lipson developed a prototype of this Web portal that integrated existing medical student information and access to our new digital curriculum, iROCKET. In the fall of 2000 a team of Web portal developers was put together and in addition to the three original designers, included medical students Oji Oji and Wender Hwang, and the School of Medicine's Director of the Office of Educational Technology, Kevin Souza, and former SOM webmaster, Jill Garland. The portal team developed three templates and after extensive testing and feedback, the current design was selected for development. We hope you enjoy the portal and we welcome your feedback.
