ANNOUNCEMENTS

Calling all Artists!  Announcing UCSF’s first Recycled/Reclaimed Art Show.  Apply Now!

The Library recently installed two walking workstations, or Walkstations, in the Tech Commons on the 2nd floor. Combining a height-adjustable work surface and a low-speed treadmill, the Walkstation lets you walk comfortably, burn calories, and feel more energized while working at a computer. Go to the Library Tech Commons (CL240) to try them out.

The UCSF Center for Healthcare Value (CHV) is now launching the Caring Wisely Award, a request for proposals for interventions that are implementable at the UCSF Medical Center and reduce the cost of healthcare while maintaining or improving health without simply transferring costs to others.

The deadline for Great People Award nominations is Friday, March 1, 2013.
