Digital Camcorder Rules of Use:
  • The DV Camcorder and accessories are for use by UCSF faculty, staff, and students only. The borrower cannot loan them out to any other individuals.
  • You are responsible for making sure the DV camcorder and accessories do not get damaged, lost or stolen while it is checked out to you. You are responsible for all damaged and/or missing items.
  • Your borrowing privileges are limited to a period of two business days. The DV camcorder and accessories must be returned on the following Monday if they are checked out on Friday. If they are checked out on Thursday, they may be due back either on Friday or the following Monday, at the discretion of OET staff.
  • The DV Camcorder and accessories must be returned on the date and time due directly to a OET staff member. You are responsible for the DV camcorder and accessories until an OET staff member has checked them back in.
  • If you are late in returning the DV camcorder and accessories fees may be assessed and loss of borrowing privileges may result.
  • The DV camcorder and accessories may be renewed for an additional two days if no one else has requested its use. In order to renew, you must bring the DV camcorder and accessories to the OET before they are due and complete another Lease Agreement.
  • The DV camcorder and accessories may be reserved up to one week in advance.
  • Use of the DV camcorder and accessories is for academic use only. Unauthorized, non-academic use is prohibited and may result in loan privileges being permanently revoked.
