Admissions
Students interested in applying to PRIME-US must go through the normal application
process for the UCSF School of Medicine (SOM). Any student offered an interview
at the SOM can then apply for PRIME-US.

PRIME-US Information & Application Form
Students will receive information about the program in their secondary
applications. Students can apply once they have received an offer to interview
at UCSF. PRIME-US applications are due 2 weeks after interview day. Students
chosen for an interview will speak with a PRIME-US student and/or faculty
member by phone. Decisions will be announced in April and May.
Applicants to the JMP go through a separate admissions process. For information
on how to apply to PRIME-US through the JMP, please contact the program
