ASSM Funding Request

To request funding from the Associated Students of the School of Medicine, please fill out this form and email it to Jason.Castillo@ucsf.edu.

Money from the ASSM is set aside to fund community service and outreach events, social events, and student-run electives. Funding applications are reviewed monthly (October-May). In order to be eligible for funding, events and electives must be open to all medical students. Food for lunchtime events and electives does not qualify for funding, and University policy prevents paying for alcohol out of ASSM funds. All purchases must be pre-approved by the Treasurer and the Office of Student Affairs. If approved, receipts must be submitted to Sara Clemons in the Office of Student Affairs within two weeks of the event.
