
Student Outreach Project Funding
School of Medicine student groups or organizations may apply for funding
from the Office of Outreach and Academic Advancement (OAA) for specific
outreach project support. The student groups will be required to submit
a summary of the project and an expenditure report at the end of the fiscal
year for which awarded funds were expended. Please fill out this form
to request funding.
Please note:
• Funding requests must cover a specific outreach project.
• A budget proposal and description of the proposed project is required
in advance.
• Campus-wide RCOs and student groups do not qualify for this support.
• Because funding is limited, not all requests can be funded.
• Additionally, requests may not be funded at the amount requested.
• A maximum of $1,000 will be awarded per approved request.
• Funding requests must be made in advance of implementation of
the outreach project.
• Funding requests must be submitted to OAA. It is best to submit
funding requests as early as possible in the fiscal year (FY begins July
1 of each year).
• Post-award requirements: leadership of the student project must
complete and submit the final page of the application at the end of the
fiscal year (by June 15) along with an expenditure report.
