D-Stress Rounds

One hour meetings, known as D-Stress Rounds, are held with third-year students on their Medicine clerkships, their OB/GYN clerkships, and during their surgery clerkship (at San Francisco General Hospital). In addition, students who particpate in PISCES meet montly on D-Stress rounds. These meetings provide a forum for discussing a wide range of stressful situations that arise during clinical work, such as difficult patient/house staff interactions, the sense of constantly being evaluated, and the frustration of being at the bottom of the hospital hierarchy. D-Stress Rounds are scheduled with the coordinator for each site who will notify you of the time and date. You are also welcome to contact the MSWBP at any time with these or other concerns as you move through your clerkships.

Please call (415) 476-0468 or email WattersR@medsch.ucsf.edu for further information.
