Dr. Vittorio Comelli and Dr. Rebecca Watters

Rebecca Watters, MD, Director, Psychiatrist
Rebecca Watters is board certified in adult psychiatry and neurology and has been licensed since 1999. She completed her psychiatric residency at UCSF and has been on the faculty of the UCSF Department of Psychiatry since 2003. She has worked with graduate students at UCSF, USF, and UC Hastings College of the Law. She has a private practice in San Francisco where she provides individual therapy, couples therapy, and medication management.

Vittorio Comelli, PsyD, Assistant Director, Psychologist
Vittorio Comelli received his doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology. He completed his pre-doctoral training at California Pacific Medical Center Adult Outpatient Psychiatry and his post-doctoral health psychology fellowship at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in hematology and oncology. Dr. Comelli specializes in working with the chronically medically ill and serves as a consultation-liaison to medical and nursing staff. He comes from a diverse cultural background, is fluent in three languages, and versed in working in a multi-cultural environment. He has clinical expertise working with young adults in medical settings both individually and in groups. Dr. Comelli has a private practice in San Francisco working with adults and children. He also supervises residents and interns. Dr. Comelli is the chair of the Community Membership Committee of the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. He serves on the Educational Committee of the Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology and is a member of the APA Division 39 and the San Francisco chapter of Children Psychotherapy Project.
