Scholars Program
is Assistant
Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at UCSF.
A graduate of Williams College and Cornell University Medical College,
he completed internal medicine residency training at the University
of Michigan Ann Arbor and nephrology fellowship training at the University
of California, San Francisco. His research interests include acute kidney
injury and amyloidosis among black tar heroin users in San Francisco.
His medical education interests include curriculum development and direct
teaching for students, residents, and fellows. He is the co-director
of the renal pathophysiology course for first-year medical students
at UCSF.
