Teaching
Scholars Program
is a Clinician-Educator Fellow in the Department of General Internal Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at Yale University, studying history. After a year of laboratory and volunteer work, she moved to Chicago for medical school at Rush University. She recently finished her residency in Internal Medicine Primary Care at UCSF. During residency, her research focused on resident ambulatory education, and she developed a new curriculum in "practice management" to ease residents' transition from medical student to primary care provider. Her interest in teaching was also fostered through participation in the Resident Teaching Fellowship, a multi-specialty program which equips residents to teach more effectively.
