Timothy Berger, MD (TSP 2002-2003) is a Professor of Clinical Dermatology and the Director of Residency. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Rice University and then went on to Southwestern Medical School. He completed a dermatology residency at Letterman Army Medical Center/University of California, San Francisco and a fellowship in dermatopathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. He has been involved in the teaching of medical students and residents at UCSF for fifteen years. His current teaching research involves the development of electronic-based (web and PDA-based) teaching and diagnostic programs.
