 Neurological
Surgery
Thank you for your interest in the Department of Neurological Surgery's clinical electives. When space is available, U.S., Canadian and osteopathic visiting students (we do not accept international students) may apply to participate in our electives. There is no remuneration for these electives and neither room nor board is provided.
The maximum amount of elective time for visiting students is 3 months/12 weeks at UCSF.
UCSF only accepts applications submitted on-line through the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Visiting Student Application Service (VSAS), www.aamc.org/programs/vsas/students/start.htm
Canadian students (we do not accept osteopathic and international students) may apply to participate in our electives using the following forms:
Due to Department of Homeland Security regulations, there will be a $300 processing fee for Canadian students covering Services to International Students and Scholars. If visa documents are delivered by courier, applicants should expect to pay $25 for this service.
Accepting applications through VSAS: April 18, 2012.
