Neurological Surgery

Thank you for your interest in the Department of Neurological Surgery's clinical electives. You will find all necessary application materials on this page. UCSF gives priority to its own medical students through a lottery system. Only after the UCSF lottery is complete are we able to offer electives to visiting students.
When space is available U.S. and Canadian visiting students may apply to participate in our clinical electives. There is no remuneration for these electives and neither room nor board is provided. Your completed application packet, along with the appropriate fee made payable to "UC Regents" should be mailed directly to the Department of Neurological Surgery at the address provided below. We are unable to notify you of clerkship availability before receiving your completed application.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SIGN HIPAA SECTION.
