Web Services encourages programs and departments to develop their own unique identity within the larger School of Medicine and UCSF identity systems. We can help you customize your template in a number of ways:

• Identity banners
• Promotional/Event banners
• the use of graphics, photos and rich media
  

Identity Banners

For most templates, the identity banner is on the top of the home page. Please work with Web Services to develop an effective banner. Subsequent pages use an HTML title.

If a banner contains animation, an alternative static banner must be in place for users who do not have the required plug ins/players installed.

An existing logo can be in the banner area, alone or in combination with graphics. In absence of a logo, a distinct identity can be created with a banner using the appropriate fonts and graphics.

Promotional Banners

There are preformatted graphic banners in your library and preformatted boxes which you can add and update quickly.
If you require a custom made graphic banner we can design if for you. Supply us with final text and graphics.

• Great People Banner- links to website about yearly event
